Search works. 62% of grocers search at Advanced or better, and 70% filter and sort at that level. The catalog is complete, the photographs are good, and the shopper finds the item in seconds. What the digital channels cannot do, at most grocers, is say whether that item is on the shelf in the store the shopper is about to drive to. No grocer has reached the Leading level, where the shopper is told before they ask.
