Your account

You can read the summary pages without an account. The sixteen findings, the explorer taster and the AI connection need one. You sign in with Google, with Microsoft, or with a link sent to your work email. Personal email addresses cannot sign in.

The site stores your name, your email address, which of those three you used, and the company, role and kind of company you give on the welcome screen. While you are signed in it also records what you do here: the pages you open, how long you spend on a finding, the readouts you open in the explorer, the products you read on the Connect page, and the questions a connected AI client asks. That record is how access and the site’s own reporting work, so it does not depend on the analytics choice below.

Signing in sets one cookie in your browser. It holds a random value rather than any of your details. It lasts up to 90 days, and expires sooner if you go 30 days without visiting. Signing out deletes it.

The access decision and your contact record

Access opens the moment you sign in with a work email address and answer the two welcome questions. A personal address is refused. There is no review queue.

A contact record for you is created or updated in HubSpot, Incisiv’s customer relationship system. It holds your email, name, company and role, plus fields the site keeps current: whether access is open and when it opened, when you were last active here, how many chapters and findings you have read, how many days you used the explorer, which products you read, which AI clients you have connected and how often they have called, whether you asked for research updates, and whether you asked for a conversation about a product and what you said. People at Incisiv who work on sales and research can see all of it.

Research updates

The welcome screen has a box marked “Send me research updates by email.” It is off unless you tick it. With it ticked, Incisiv may email you when a new perspective is published. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and using it switches the setting off both here and in HubSpot. Your account page shows whether it is currently on.

Email the site sends you

Apart from research updates, the site emails you about your own account: the sign-in link when you ask for one, a welcome when access opens, and a receipt when you ask for a conversation. If you have not been back for a while it may send one note about what has been added. Every message it sends is stored against your account, and the list is in the data export below. Replies reach a person at Incisiv.

Connected AI clients

You can connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client so that it can answer questions using the report. The connection is read-only and covers the report itself: the findings, the readouts behind them, the perspectives, the resources, the roster of banners and the Leading banners. A connected client cannot read your profile or your conversation requests.

Every request a client makes is recorded on your account, with the client, the tool it used and what it asked for. Your connected clients are listed on the Connect page and on your account page, and you can end a connection from either one. When you do, that client’s access stops at once.

Your conversation request

When you ask for a conversation, Incisiv receives your work email, company, role, the products you chose, the qualification answer each needs and your note. These are used to respond and prepare the conversation. The request is stored in the site’s database and on your contact record. It does not subscribe you to marketing email, and nothing is bought or billed on the site.

Getting your data back, or removing it

Two controls sit on your account page. “Download my data” gives you one file holding your profile, everything the site has recorded you doing, your conversation requests and the list of email it has sent you. “Delete my account” removes your profile, that activity record, your connected clients and your sessions from this site, and signs you out everywhere.

Deleting here does not remove you from Incisiv’s contact records. The contact is marked as withdrawn instead. Reply to any email from Incisiv, or write to giri@incisiv.com, to have that removed as well.

Optional analytics

Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics.” With your consent, PostHog receives an anonymous identifier, the page path and events such as an opened calendar. Form content, email, company name and URL query strings are excluded. No session recording or automatic interaction capture is enabled.

Your analytics preference and anonymous identifier are stored in your browser. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change your choice. Declining stops future capture and removes the local anonymous identifier. It does not delete events already received.

External services

Published sources open on their respective sites. The meeting calendar opens on HubSpot and follows that service’s privacy practices. No meeting is booked simply by opening the calendar.
